Exactly what the title says. I had my trans. and clutch swapped Wednesday and today the clutch pedal doesn't wanna pop back up after I let off of it (unless I release it really fast). I do know when I put the clutch and pressure plate in my car before I dropped it off, somehow the new pilot bushing fell out of one of the boxes, so I can only assume the old one is still in there. It's almost the same symptoms found in this thread: http://nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=58417Thanks for any help.

Did you rebleed the clutch hydraulic system? Also is there fluid in the clutch resivor? Did you empty the resivor bleeding the clutch. Did you bleed it from the slave clyinder. What color is the fluid in the resivor, if its dark you might need to rebuild the clutch master or get a new one. I don't thing thats the problem though. It sounds like you are loose hydraulic pressure. If you have done all this I would start adjusting the clutch petal. Another thing you might want to try, there is a bolt that belongs on the top of the petal right where a flat piece touches a bolt. That limits how far the petal travels. If you screw that bolt down limiting the petal travel it shouldn't release the pressure so fast. Hope this helps.

I replaced the slave cyl. this morning, and bled the clutch line several times. That helped a little for a while, but now it's back as bad as ever. The car won't even go in gear. I read about the clutch fork only being able to rock one way. If it rocks both ways it may be broken. Mine rocks both ways. I hope that isn't it; I hate the thought of having to have the trans pulled again.

you can eliminate that by checking as follows:1)will the clutch fork move with hand pressure?2)does the slave cyl move in and out when using the clutch(it should move a lot)

I took the car back to the mechanic that swapped the trans and put the clutch in for me. The throwout bearing had gone bad (after less than 100 mi). He put another in and didn't charge me. Well, now after less than 100 mi. it's doing it again. The clutch isn't even disengaging from the flywheel. The car moves when starting and the pedal pushed in. The slave cylinder is moving when pushing the clutch pedal in. The fork will move toward the front of the car when pushed by hand, but not toward the rear of the car.
