Hello,

I would like to adjust my clutch pedal height. It is about an inch below the brake pedal right now ( I assume) because I tried adjusting the free play, which felt looser than the recommended 3 mms. I believe I have tightened up the free play so where it only travels about 3 mms until I can see the push rod move in. Is my understanding of the free play correct?

More importantly, could someone please tell/show exactly how to adjust the clutch pedal height so that it fits the specs?

It is a 1986.

I just did this a moment ago. You need to loosen a 14 mm stop nut behind the fork that attaches to the pedal. Then all you gotta do is turn the rod that goes to the clutch master cylinder in the direction you need it to go. Once there, tighten the nut again.
No need to detach the fork from the pedal assembly, just loosen nut, turn rod, tighten nut and voilá. Easy one.

Good luck :)
