Clutch pedal has NOOOOO pressure.

my clutch pedal has no pressure at all this happened about 2 weeks after i installed a new clutch and i torqued it down to factory spec. like the pedal comes up but has no pressure what so ever.
i believe the slave cylinder or master cylinder went out but im not sure but i will replace both anyways so what u guys think. My car is a 1997 nissan 240sx. its really pissing me off and i need to fix this asap

have you bled it correctly? sounds like air is trapped in the lines.

Also forgot to mention that after I changed the clutch everything felt good until a week after when the engagement point became almost at the top of the pedal then a week later the clutch pedal randomly lost all the pressure as i left my house. my friend told me u have to use the pedal to bleed it

yeah, thats the way to bleed it. have a buddy help out. pump the pedal a few times and then hold it down and either you or a buddy open the bleeder screw on the slave, bleed some fluid, close and repeat till theres no air bubbles in the fluid. it makes it easier to see if you use a clear hose. also make sure theres fluid in the master when your doing this, cause if it runs out, air gets back in an you have to start all over. pain in the a**.
also check the adjustment rod on the back of the pedal. once the line is bled, you may want to play it a bit to get the engagement point to where you want it to be.
