I've had horrible clutch pedal feel ever since I finished the swap in my car. I bypassed the dampner box, installed an SPL line, bled the clutch, adjusted the pedal, bled it again, adjusted the pedal again, etc etc, ad nauseum, and the pedal still feels like s***.

I'm thinking it has to be one of two things:

1) When we replaced my clutch, we used an Exedy 300ZX N/A kit. Everything fit fine, except the throwout bearing was a different type (don't know why). It wouldn't work, so we used the old throwout bearing That's probably the problem, OR....

2) My slave cylinder is bad.

One other thing I've noticed....if I sit still with the car in neutral and the clutch pedal down, and then let the pedal up, I can hear the revs drop ever-so-slightly. Like it's putting a load on the engine even though the trans is in neutral. It's not enough to see visibly on the tach, but I can definitely hear it.

Input?

first, yea your gonna have a slight RPM change when you release the clutch, you are having the engine spin up alot more mass suddenly, entire input shaft and all the gears on the transmission. and it really sounds like there is still air in the lines. make sure everything is bled out properly, mine was a ***** to get all the air out of. took a good 4 seperate bleeds.
