Could some of you expert technically minded people please confirm if this pedal is a clutch or brake pedal? :)

if stock isn' t the brake pedal more rectangular? Also it looks like it houses some springs and maybe even a location where it would link up with a csc slave cylinder spring set up. Hence most likely clutch. 70% sure

Also most japanese manufacturers have the clutch pedal all the way to the left side of the floor. German cars they are all together but japan nissan etc they have the pedals where they distinctly want you to use your left foot. so for whatever that's worth
