Clutch pedal braket

I think something broke on the clutch pedal assembly today and my suspicion is that it might be a weld point. Their are no leaks anywhere and the ball nut for the shift fork is a year old. And the pedal feel different. Is this a common problem for the S13 or has anybody had a problem like this?

Not that I am aware of, the pedal is just a mount which pivots and presses the CMC piston. I have never seen one break, maybe the cmc or clutch is on its way out.

I heard something snap or broke Right when i press on the pedal while driving. Any clues?

Check the pin that attaches the clutch to the master cylinder. Theres a bushing and a pin there, if the bushing cracks or breaks of, the symptoms you're getting could happen.

I've seen bent clutch pedal assemblies, but never broken ones. I think it would be pretty impossible. Check the bushing and spring that krash mentioned above.

It turns out that i was correct about the welds on the clutch bracket. It's was like it never had been welded. It shift even better now that i fix it.

The clutch pedal spot welds breaking is a common problem. Nismo make a reinforced upgrade bracket but im not sure if it will fit lhd cars.

Check this one. There's not much to break on the bracket. Nismo bracket fits on LHD car.
