when ever i am in first second or third gear, if i drive to over 3000 RPM and when i step on the clutch, sometimes when i pull out the shift lever, it makes this rubbing noise, i dont know where it comes from, something sound like you have two sand paper rubbing against each other, what do you guys think the problem might be?

How long have you been driving stick? :D

If that isn't the problem, it might be worn synchros? Mine are, and it grinds on occasion slipping in/out of gear. Good luck with it, though.

Probably the latter as opposed to the former, then. My car has 150k and it is just starting to grind going into 3rd, occasionally first. Try double clutching in the meantime to help things out. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong, but an easy solution (the one I'm doing) is to buy a used transmission off one of the MANY people who do the SR20DET swap. For about $90-125, you can get a transmission that isn't broken!
