Air in the lines. Or more likely in the master cylinder. Rebleed everything.

yeah i tried.... i must the bleed it for like 30 min... the cm cylinder and the slave cylinder are new... i bleed and bleed but nothing it still wont work is there any chance it could be a bad pressure plate? if i bleed the line isnt that bleeding the cm cylinder? or do i have to do something different to bleed that cm cylinder?

Did you bleed the valves at the dampener box and the slave? Check out the manual for instructions on the "unusual" bleed procedure.

Or better yet remove the dampener completely.

yo whats up man. i had a similar problem with my 90 240sx. it wouldnt engage into third. i would grind and someimes it wouldnt even go in . i took the transmission apart and checked the clutch. my clutch ended up bieng worn out and i ended up replacing the clutch and preassure plate. If the clutch is old (which it might be if you just bought the car) then it might be the whole clutch kit as a whole. Exedy makes a clutch kit for the 240sx ka24e and ka24de. once i replaced it and bled the lines straight it worked fine. no more grinding and all the gears transition smoorthly. but yeah try it out. the cluthc kit costs about $105. Ebay. If you can do the work yourself than you save a big buck. labor at a shope is about 280. cool man. hope everything goes well lates.

Dampener delete all the way!! just remove that pipe thingy that runs along the side of the car (loop) so that the mc is directly connected to the slave. Way better response with pedal. also did you bench bleed the mc?? possibility of air stuck up there also.
