I did a 5 speed swap on my s13 and the clutch isn't working right. I bled it and did the normal stuff like filling the transmission but whenever I put it in gear the engine mostly just revs and the trans just moves the car slowly along. Also when I leave it in first I can let off the clutch all the way and the car just idles without dieing. Clutch master cylinder bad??

I doubt it would be your clutch MC, you already said you bled it right? I would check the slave cylinder, the clutch disk and the clutch fork. 1st time I did a clutch swap, I accidentally put the clutch fork in wrong and I rushed everything. I ended up having to do the whole thing ALL OVER AGAIN~! You said that the car could be put into gear right? Sounds to me like you might have done the exact same thing....

your clutch disk is toast. you may have a burned pressure plate and flyweel also. resurface the flywheel, replace the pressure plate and clutch disk. when you put it all together don't let the friction surfaces get any oil or greese on them. if it was ur cylinders or other hydraulic problems you would not be able to get it into gear, so that can't be your problem.

I know what that's like when a clutch job goes bad, read about it here: http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....25352

As for your problem, it is definately strange that your clutch isn't engaging properly. The thing is, you can't really be exactly certain on what the problem is unless you remove your transmission again. However, from what you're describing sounds like the problem may be in a bad clutch disc. I'm curious, what kind of a clutch you go with?
