My S13 is currently stuck about 50 miles away because the clutch will not disengage. Pressing the pedal to the floor is pretty easy, and it barely returns back to the top. When it first wouldn't shift, the pedal wasn't even rising back up at all.

So I definitely have to get the car towed to my house, but am wondering what kind of problems I'm looking at.

I've had the car about a month, and it had a new clutch, clutch master and slave cylinders installed in it before I bought it. It definitely sounds like slave cylinder problems given that it won't push the pedal back up.

Would a good bleed of the clutch fix this? Or am I looking at something kinda expensive?

If it's alot of money, I'm just going to pitch the KA and start on an SR swap since it seems inevitable(too many problems with this kinda shoddily swapped high mile KA).

Can you lift the pedal back up manually? Couldn't it just be the spring?

It's not just a problem with the clutch pedal though. It returns to the top now, but the clutch will not physically disengage. So I can't put the shifter into gear regardless of where the clutch pedal is.

Have you looked at the transmission yet? One thing it might be is the pivot ball for the lift fork. Sometimes this can break off in which case there is nothing wrong with the clutch but you will have to take the transmission apart and replace the ball. Your best bet is to look under the car and see if the lift fork is loose.

Bleed your clutch line. It will fix it.
