Hi everyone,
I have pathfinder 99 5spd. Recently changed transmission lube with royal purple 75/90. Just did 4000k in 60 hrs with out an issue got home and park it. The next morning I started it and while holding the clutch pedal down it started to make a kind of woo woo woo woo squealing noise and slight vibration in shift stick. Drove it around, til engine is warm. clutch is working fine, noise is still there. If I'm holding the pedal down while the vehicle is moving there is no noise. Sound only comes up once the vehicle gets to a complete stop. With the vehicle stopped and engine running I tried all gears. In 4th gear the noise stoped when I keep putting pressure on the stick itself...stick in 4th the noise is there...if I press harder on the stick it stops squealing. Then I put the park brake on and gear in fifth and let the clutch go slowly. It s stall. The noise is gone and didn't come back yet. Anyone has a clue of what could be the cause of what's going on??

CHEERS !!!

Noise when the clutch is depressed is usually from a bad throw-out bearing. When was the last time the clutch was replaced, and was the TO bearing replaced at that time?

Stalling while trying to move in 5th gear with parking brake...well, that's not surprising at all, and it's not good for the clutch.
