clutch noise.

so, one day im driving... and then i start hearing a knock sound... but its a wierd knock, not like rod knock. and its coming from my transmission... it feels like something is loose in the transmission and is grinding against something. back when me and my buddy took the motor out to put on the t28 turbo and install a new spec clutch, we noticed that my new clutch housing didnt fit around the flywheel... so we took my old housing and swapped the clutch disks. im taking a good guess at thinking that this has something to do with the noise. the car wont idle unless you give it gas, and when you go it feels like the clutch wont grab and you can barely get up to about 30mph. (i only know because i drove the car home after this happened) so... if anyone has a clue.. id greatly appreciate it.

I have the knock sound too in my ka started last night but my car doesn't die on idle it idles fine if you figure it out let me know loud noises when clutch is to the floor up to the friction point-thanks
