Car: 91' 240sx with some babying to be given

Post

so i brought my car in to auto as i do everyday and decided to bleed the master and put new fluid... then there was no pressure (now i know is because of the bastardly dampener) so i thought the master was shot... so i made a run to NAPA and got a new one for $23... of course it still isnt working cuz i didnt kno it was best to take the dampener out...

so my question is, is there a downside to removing the dampener or is it a stupid thing to make bleeding harder?

cuz my car is in autoshop right now and i need a solution...

just ditch it. I don't have one and it feels so much more solid without it.

glad to see this question posted cause after dropping in another KA in my coupe and replacing the clutch and bleeding the clutch my pedal still has no pressure. im hoping its just something dumb i over looked because i was in a hurry trying to get the car back on the road.

I've read on here before that its not a crazy difference but definatly noticeable. I have no 1st hand experience with this though.

i got mine out and daily mine. totally livable. doesnt make it a PITA that it seems your expecting. dont personally know if it hurts any components. never heard anything about it. but i really doubt it.

Ditch it for the simple fact that bleading the clutch gets a crap ton eaiser with out it, and the pedel will become just a little firmer.(just enough to notice)

In your position, I would get rid of it. The difference wasn't that noticable on my car and the only reason I got rid of it was because my slave went bad and I was already down there.
