Hi- I just purchased a '94 4x4 160,000 miles, clean with a good maint history. I have replaced the center link, cleaned & re-packed front wh bearings. Fluids. Battery. It feels well sorted now, but I have one remaining issue that I do not know how to approach. The clutch pedal must be depressed every last mm in order to disengage fully. While the clutch does not slip, based upon the service records, it appears to be the original clutch. I would prefer not to replace it.

1) Does the pedal travel symptom sound like a weak master / slave? Or is it a symptom of a worn out clutch? How do I determine where to begin- replace the master first, the slave first, or swallow and do both at the same time?

2) The timing belt was changed at 120,000. When should I do it again?

3) Should I change the original water pump as a preventative measure, or will a bad pump give warning signs?

4) Any thoughts about changing the factory auto hubs to manual lockouts? Are the factory auto hubs reliable? Should I save my money or swap them out for winter reliability and security?

5) Given a complete service history and (apparent) lack of abuse, how many miles can I reasonably expect from this drivetrain?

Thanks in advance for your advice- I have a lot of domestic truck experience, but this is my first Nissan. I like the truck a lot.
