Hmm, this didn't get much traffic in the Online Mechanic so I will post it here.

I took a trip to Mexico for a week and when I came back my Clutch felt very very light and sticky, so I checked the reservoir and it was bone dry. So I was like WTF and filled it back up with DOT 3 Brake Fluid. Now two weeks later it is bone dry again, I filled it up again and now I know I have a leak in the Clutch Master Cylinder. Now the questions, is my Clutch Master Cylinder toast or is it reparable? Also If I have to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder how hard would it be?

If its obvious the leak is coming from the master cylinder, you could replace some parts, but I'd just go ahead and replace the entire unit. Its pretty simple to do. Here are the basic steps:

drain fluiddetach hydraulic line coming out from MCunscrew piston/actuator from pedal attachment on clutch pedalunscrew 2 bolts that hold MC to firewallremove

Reverse for install (trickiest part will probably be getting the piston actuator threaded into its place on the pedal)fill MC res with fluidBleed, bleed, bleed, keeping res at full line
