important lesson i learned putting my greddy exhaust up. small pipe wrenches do wonders!!! they do a little damage to the natural sides of the nut but not bad enough where an open ended wrench wont fit on it again. my advice is fork up $40 for a braided line and get rid of your old one.

heat would prob be your new best friend for this job.

like most sbreak lines i use a propane torch to heat the nut at the point of entery to the cylinder. make sure you dont burn any rubber bushings or seals.

make sure it nice and hot. it doesnt have to be cherry red but the hotter it is the better. make sure you use a line wrench on it. but if you dont have one make sure you have a nice snug fit to the nut.

might have to heat it up a try it, and repeat a few times. then cool it off with your wd40

vice grips work great, tho will destroy the sides, you can use them again to tighten it up

hope this helps

good luck

Vice grips, man. Or, if you're getting new lines, cut the line so you can use a socket.
