Is a Flare Wrench the only tool that will work on the clutch and brake line fasteners? I stripped one bolt already. Went from an opened end to vise grips to s*** in 5 minutes. Pretty sure they're sealed in with something. Let me know, <<Tom>>:help

I got some out by propane torching the distribution block it was screwed into, then it came out easily with vise grips. Apparently they strip REALLY easily. Oh, and I dont need that clutch line anymore...I'm a tool and forgot to tell you that :( Sorry man!

Yeah, pretty much. I'm not sure how, but I managed to strip the stock rubber line even with a flare wrench... I say it's a must for doing brake and clutch lines because it reduces the chance of stripping a nut.

look for a wrench that was a wide gripping section. most flare wrenches available have just a standard width wrenching section. but i think snap on and definitely craftsman have more flare for the dollar. sounds stupid, but if you use it a lot then you'll be glad you got 'em

Sounds good then. I'll heat the dist. block with a torch and yank on em with a flare wrench. Thanks guys.
