When the car hasn't been driven for a while, the lines seem to have no pressure in them, which is true. After driving some, pressure builds up I guess and I am wondering if that causes the clutch engagement point to move around the pedal? The clutch grabs pretty soon after the pedal is released when there is no pressure in the lines, but after driving a little while, the engagement point has moved way out to where the pedal is pretty far out before the clutch grabs. It always grabs and doesn't slip no matter what, but that movement of the engagement is annoying. Could I just bleed the lines and maybe that take care of it?

I have the exact same problem and nothing seems to help for me. In the past year I have replaced the clutch, master cyl., slave cyl., removed dampener, rebuilt the year-old master cyl. and the problem continues. It seemed to work great after I rebuilt the master cyl. a couple months ago, but the problem has returned. I may go the expensive route and try a nissan M/C and see if that helps.

My clutch is brand new (ACT Street), Brand new dampener, brand new slave cylinder, brand new clutch master (all Nissan OEM Parts). Is your car 5spd swapped? As in, was it an auto in the past? Mine has been swapped and someone said it may have to do with the CMC Adjustment. I dont know, but I will try to bleed it first I guess.

I would like to upgrade to that stainless line. I'm just lazy.
