I am new to the CA but not to the Sr. I swaped my last s13 with a sr20det. Now im planning to do a CA since its really cheap. How do you all like it? And if i bought one that is decent with miles should i do the head, water pump, and oil pump? should that be enough considering everything else it good? Is there any clutch kits?

Love the CA, usually use the stock oilpump if it´s good but new waterpump.I only port the exhaust side of the head, if that´s what you mean.

And my last advice, Mitsu turbo. Volvo 5-cyl got a great TD04 range of turbo´s that really match the CA. From 14T to 19T, I usually use 16T (good for 330bhp)

Forgot, tested both ACT and BMW clutches. BMW is the best choise but requires some flywheel mods.

SPEC makes a CA specific clutch that drops right in. You can also use any s13 KA24E clutch, but you've got to open up some of the alignment pin openings or remove one.

or you could buy an sr clutch and lightened flywheel package and get a gear reduction starter from another usdm nissan. i don't remember what model but if you search in the CA forum it has been discussed in detail.
