alright i did search and found out that 89 - 94 240sx clutch kits are exactly the same, but 89-90 and 91-94 have different release bearings correct?

because i traded my rc car for a exedy clutch kit that goes to an 91 but my car is an 90.. sooo... should i just buy a new release bearing? which will cost me .. like $20?

i am pretty sure you are right because i got 91-94 clutch it sent to me and everything work great except for the throw out bearing and it only took me one week to destroy that throw out bearing. My motor was a 1990 SOHC so all i had to do was just replace the throw out bearing to the right year and it was ok from that day on.

If your doing a complete Clutch kit overhaul, i would absolutly get a new Throw out bearing, pilot bearing, re-surface the flywheel, and all that good stuff. Why? Just because, it will be less problems for you.

yeah i'm buying a new throw out bearing this weekend, then the clutch kit came with a new pilot bushing, not sure if im going to bother to replace since pilot bushihngs never go bad, but would replaced the pilot bearing be a good idea? those cheap? haha

also yeah gonna end up resurfacing the flywheel for $30
