i have 1992 240sx and i need to replace the clutch i was wondering if anyone has done so before and has any tips on what clutch to go with or how the easiest way is and what it will cost me if i do the work.

cost is your time, clutch kit, and transmission oil. irc you need 75w90 gear oil 2.4L of that and then make sure you have complete set of tools, including a torque wrench so you can tighten the pressure plate and flywheel bolts up to spec.

also a tip for getting the top bell housing bolt is taking off the 2 irc 12mm bolts that hold the transmission mount to tha transmission crossmember and then jack up the rear of the transmission to tip the engine forward. that should give you a bit more space to get the top bellhousing bolt off. overall its easy. i did mine basically by myself in round 9 hours.

ooyea and also make sure you drain your transmission oil before you take out the driveshaft or you will create a bigg mess.
