Well there is a chance that the clutch is wrecked, but i dont think so. I would bet that your master or slave cylinder is bad. If the line is bad then fluid will leak out. If the master or slave cylinder went bad then there wouldnt be any leak in the fluid so the fluid level would remain the same but your problem would still exsits. If you want you can replace them. It is easy and cheap. The slave is about $20, and the master is $30. Like I said, cheap.-If it is your clutch, this might be a way to check it. Put your car on flat ground and put it into gear. Then try and push the car and see if it moves. If so, clutch is broken. If not then-replacing the slave is easy and quick. Jack car up, open nipple on slave cylinder and empty all the fluid. Then remove the line from the slave. Then remove the two bolts holding the slave cylinder on the transmission(passenger side of transmission). Then go backwards to install the new one. After wards bleed the system.-replacing the master is also easy. go to the clutch pedal, remove the pin that holds the other pin in place that connects the master cylinder rod to the pedal. Then open the hood. Undo the clutch line that connects to the master cylinder. disconnect the two bolts that hold the mastercylinder to the firewall. Pull out mastercylinder and replace by going backwards through the steps. B4 installing the new one, lay it next to the old one so you can make sure the rods are the same length. Also bench bleed. Once reinstalled bleed entire system.
-Note: If you have never messed with your clutch system your car still has a dampener. This is on the floor under the car on the passenger side. Its a little black box. This makes it harder to bleed the system. Mine wouldnt let me bleed the system so i removed it and ran the line directly from the master cylinder to the slave.
PS im not gona walk you through replacing the clutch, sorry
Sorry for it being so long.
