just had new clutch slave and master done and clutch doesnt fully pop up. stops like quarter inch shy. i took it back and they "fixed" the problem. i just looked now and the butchers put a spring around the pedal and under dash. is this a hydraulic problem? need to sound like i know what im talking about when i go back in there today.

Could be several issues. Could be that they didn't adjust the clutch throw rod to compensate, could be insufficient hydraulic pressure, could be the rod is binding (needs pivot lubed). Adding another spring is NOT the proper fix, and you can tell them I said so. ;)

Good luck, keep us posted!
