Clutch Issue?

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I would like to start it off by saying your info is awesome and it really helps. Especially installs and pics.

Heres my problem: When I push the clutch in to shift into first, I have to push it in all the way to the floor, it feels empty until I get close to the very end, then I can put it in gear. Is it a bad clutch? Is there some sort of tensioner? Please help. Thanks.

check your fluid in your clutch master cylinder

bleed it and check for leaks also.
