First off I already did a search for my particular problem but did not find any help so I am asking. Here goes my issue:

This morning I hoped into my car and started it up. I pressed the clutch pedal and the car started right up, however the clutch pedal stuck to the floor and did not pop back up. I tried again and the same thing happened. I had to pull it up with the back of the pedal, but the clutch would not engage.

So here is my issue. The clutch pedal goes down, doesn't pop back up, and the clutch will not engage. The car starts, but will not go in gear. What is wrong? I think it is the master cylinder gone out. Also the clutch pedal goes down with little to no resistance. I added fluid because it needed it, but nothing. I looked beneath and could not find anything broken or misplaced. I really need assistance on this.

I had the same problem at 92250 miles a few years ago,
The dealer replaced the clutch slave cylinder and new clutch fluid.
I had the extended warranty so it was covered.

And your clutch did not engage? You see, that is what my problem seems to really be, that it will not engage the clutch.

As for fixing it, I am gonna do it because I am sure the dealer will charge me an arm and leg. Also since the clutch will not engage, the car is stuck in the water so to speak so I would have to get it towed. Insurance will take care of it but I don't wanna pay a bunch of money for what seems like a fairly easy fix to me. Also my mileage is 99800 so... there you go! And I just took the darn thing in to have it serviced to!
