So today after work I noticed that when trying to shift into gear with my clutch fully pressed it gave the feeling and sound that the clutch was rubbing.
(was hard putting in first and sounded almost like grinding gears from not having it fully pressed in.) However if i only pushed the clutch in 90% it was perfectly fine so I decided to take the 5 minute drive home to have my clutch completly die on me a block later. It now is extremly stiff to were i cant push it in more than an inch and had to force it out of gear to park it.
I have very little idea whats causing it I do however know its completly clutch system related.
My fluids are full and I have a 91 tt jdm if it helps. Thanks for any input in adavance.

Im not sure its related to anything outside my transmision bell housing anymore as we bled both lines. After scrutinising the clutch system for a couple hours, found the master cylinder is pumping fluid there is no air in the system, and the slave is pushing in and out so chances are I'll be droping my transmission mid next week to check my throw out bearing and the rest on the internals. While in there I'll be upgrading my clutch to a stage 2 or 3.
If its still not fixed then all new componants to replace most of the clutch system.

I suspect it's mechanical. I had worked on a 95 Celica that had pretty much the same issue. When I pulled the transmission, I found the pressure plate had cracked in multiple places and wasn't able to put enough force on the clutch plate. I had another one that the spring had popped out of the clutch and jammed between the clutch and pressure plate preventing the pressure plate from moving.

I bought a JWT lightened flywheel and sport clutch kit from ConceptZPerformance. I love the thing. I would steer away from puck clutches unless you really like a hard grabbing clutch. We put a stage 3 puck clutch in my son's Supra and both of us hated it. I wouldn't drive the car.
