Alright so this is like my third tech issue with this car...but I still love it My current problem is that my car (91' KA24DE) has trouble chirping second. The guy I bought it from (long time best friend/honest guy) had a stage one clutch installed and properly broke it in for the 400-500 miles. It seemed fine for a while, I could rev mid corner in second, dump it and get it to squeal but in a straight line now, I have to rev all the way around to 7k RPMs to get a squeak out of it, not to mention some belt under the hood starts squaling like a mofo at 6k. Doesn't seem right. The only things I feel I should also mention is that I have a little trouble getting into reverse sometimes and there is a bit of slop to the shifter. I think I'm going to try and get the fluid changed in the transmission soon and replace the gear shift bushing. Any ideas? Have I already destroyed a clutch with less then 1k miles on it? And here's a random pic of my car just to spice things up

Alright so I drove today and came to the conclusion that the lack of wheelspin had to do with the 90 degree weather. Hot tires + hot pavement=no wheelspin. It chirps second gear just fine today. Sorry for wasting topic space. Carry on
