This thurs i plan on changing out my clutch/flywheel on my 95 240sx. I've searched and found that people were having problems getting the transmission back in on their s13 models. Does this problem exist with the s14 body style?

Does anyone know of a good writeup on this subject? I've changed clutches out on older cars, and am a little aprehensive about messing with the electronics attached to the motor.

Also, does anyone know the torqe specs on the flywheel bolts? I can't seem to find it in my FSM.

Pg EM-34 bottom one is the flywheel has the torque specs in the picture.

The only thing you really need to worry about is the crank position sensor and that you dont break it during removal and replacement of trans, other wise the procedure is the same as an s-13

How is the crank position sensor mounted? Can i get to the bolts from under the car?

it is mounted all the way up on the top of the bellhousing on the left side I believe, and its been awhile but I think you can really only get to it from the bottom by reaching up along the side of the trans to get to it.

So i got everything in, but the crank position sensor broke off. I got a replacement from nissan, and now it's throwing code 82 for the CPS. What exactly does the CPS do? The only thing that doesn't work is the speedo right now. Is there a way to trouble shoot the CPS? Could i just have gotten a bad part from nissan?

check your wires as you may have cut one at the point you broke the sensor.
