I was wondering if the piece(spacer) that's on the alignment tool needs to be in the transmission or it's just a spacer for aligning the clutch disk.

ok nevermind, I figured out it's the pilot bearing. Well the thing is I forgot to take that out of the flywheel. Do I really need to change it? I put the tool in there and it held it really snug. How do I know if it's bad? I have everything on and torqued right but forgot to take out the old pilot bearing.

If you have one it's a good ides to replace it. It's sometimes very hard to get out. I've heard you can put some grease in the hole and cram the alignment tool in there and the hydraulic pressure will push the pilot bushing out....

Thanks for the advice. It's in there pretty good. I'll try to see if the pressure idea will work. I checked my old stuff and everything seems pretty good. The clutch doesn't seem bad either. Is there any other way to get it out without taking the whole clutch assembly apart?
