As some may know i bougth a new 240 in replace of my red one in my sig. Well the punk I bought it from pretty much tore everything up in that car (engine wise).

two days after I bought the car the clutch was slipping some Im like ok I will replace it.

I got the clutch $95 from nissan then had to drive to get it $20finally got the transmission down old clutch out which looked terrible. well the flywheel was all messed up, with heat crackes. Well took it to the machine shop had them turn it for $45. finnally go it in there, found out the bearing had to be pressed off and on (which I would have realized if I had read the factory manual) that was an extra $10 plus gas. After bleeding the fluids fifteen million times and not getting it to work we figured it was the slave cyliner, still didnt work. Bought a master cylinder. then on Friday 5 days later, I got the car running and on the street again. I went and it chirped in second without me even trying. Thats my clutch install. Took 5 days total, with a lot of money, and blood and sweat and cussing.

clutch: 95flywheel turn: 45Bearing press: 10Slave cyliner: 21Master Cylinder: 32Gas $40Fluids: 20

Total $263 added to what I bought the car for, and I still gotta fix the timing chain

Yea sure it was an accident. Just like when my foot slide off the clutch while sitting at a redlight next to a riced up honda. had about 60miles on it then. But then went to orlando and daytona beach a few times.Had 500miles on it in 3 days.

you can press that bearing on and off yourself with a hammer and a socket, thats what I did. And you can a flywheel resurfaced for 10-20 bucks around here.

As for the cylinders, the slave cylinder seems like it always blows when you change the clutch. I just ordered a new one cause I'm changing mine, its a good time to replace it when you are changing everything else. As for the master cylinder, put a 2x4 or something under the pedal (just like you would under your brake pedal when you change brakes) so it doesn't have to travel further than usual when you are building up pressure. That should help.

Glad you got it running. Yea take the clutch easy for a lil while. And are you going to turbo the KA or something? If not, dont even worry about the timing chain.
