Ok i was wondering what tools are needed to replace the clutch? I already have a clutch kit and I am curious as to what tools are needed, and how to resurface a flywheel?!

Is the engine in the car or on a stand??? And take your flywheel to Napa or Autozone..Or any auto machine shop pretty much.

on generic clutches, you could have had a full exedy oem replacement kit for ~$85 on ebay

if the clutch is in the car, youre going to need a lift or a good floor jack and 4x jackstands. 2 jacks would be better.

full metric socket sets and a couple wrenches, extensions (long ones) and universals, new gearbox oil, etc...

just find someone that has done it before that can help you like i did, unless you want to suffer through 8+ hours of guess-and-check.

should be 14 or 15 mm bolts that hold the transmission and motor together ,if you have the choice pull the transmission down not pull the motor out lining up the splines can be 8 hours of fun but if you do decide to pull motor then take 1 bolt from transmission to auto parts store and get 6 inch bolt so the motor ,transmission can be lined up put one bolt on each side so the transmission cant move (i spent 7 hours trying to line up my motor unril my friend came by and gave me the bolt idea it work in like 15 minutes wish i would've thought of it before )

yeah that bolt trick is awsome!! I just got done rebuilding my engine and installing a new clutch. and I found that it was easier to remove the engine from its mounts so it sits lower and then slide the trany into it.
