To remove the clutch line from the slave cylinder you must first unbolt the hard line coming from the dampener. Always use a flare wrench for this task or you'll end up stripping most, if not all of the nuts. I even stripped my stock rubber clutch line nut using a flare wrench

. Fortunately, I had a stainless steel clutch line so all I needed was a new slave cylinder. Good luck, and while you're at it you may as well bypass the dampener. Just connect the hard line from the master cylinder directly to the rubber clutch line after you unbolt the hard line coming from the dampener.
