hey just wondering where you disconnected the clutch line that goes into the ka transmission? i tried taking the high pressure line right out of the transmission but the damn line kept twisting. so i'm just wondering where i should disconnect the clutch hardline so there'e no pressure in the high pressure clutch line. everything else is disconnect except for that.thanks jeff

The clutch line can disconnect at the slave cylinder and at the damper loop box. The hardline will disconnect at the clutch master cylinder and at the damper loop box. If you've an aftermarket clutch line that removes the damper loop, remove the damper loop box and connect the clutch line directly to the hardline from the clutch master cylinder.

To remove the clutch line from the slave cylinder you must first unbolt the hard line coming from the dampener. Always use a flare wrench for this task or you'll end up stripping most, if not all of the nuts. I even stripped my stock rubber clutch line nut using a flare wrench . Fortunately, I had a stainless steel clutch line so all I needed was a new slave cylinder. Good luck, and while you're at it you may as well bypass the dampener. Just connect the hard line from the master cylinder directly to the rubber clutch line after you unbolt the hard line coming from the dampener.

I had the same problem with the flex line twisting so I just took the slave cylinder off, connected the line and then bolted it back up.
