how do i go about adjusting the cable clutch on my 1993 g20. i just got it today for 950 dollars and i have a few things that needs to be fixed on it. it needs a new cat cus people around az are stealing cats and my car was a victim. also i can depress the clutch and it grinds when i put it in gear like the pressure plate isnt being actuated and i want to adjust it. is it difficult. i know its a cable transmission. hope i can get some help.

the clutch adjustment is located under the intake/battery. Its easier to remove the intake to get to it. Or you could just snake your arm under all that to get to it. I can do that..... but thats because im a skinny guy so my arm goes right in LOL.

Once u remove the intake (if you do remove it) its located on top of the transmission. you can clearly see the cable that is attached to the clutch arm. It kinda looks like an H with a cable running through it. There are 2 nuts on it. One is behind it to loosen the other nut. Once you loosen that nut you can go ahead and twist the other nut to adjust the cable. Adjust it to where u think u would like it and tighten the other nut to lock it again. Do a test and hop in your car and press the clutch and see if you like it. If you dont like it just keep messing with it until you get it to the sweet spot that u like.
