clutch help

my clutch pedal sticks to the floor in my 1990 nissan 240sx. im thinking it might be the clutch fluid is empty. but i do not know where the clutch fluid is on the car any pics or help? thanks

corner right by the brake booster there's a reservoir there

yep, the smaller one. it may be your slave cylinder, i've went through several before i finally stopped it from leaking. buy the clutch slave cylinder rebuild kit from autozone, cheap and just as good if not better than a new duracrap one. i eventually replaced my clutch master, bench bled it, and rebuilt the slave.

great pedal pressure (maybe a bit too much on mine ??), the clutch lines are squeaky clean, fluid stays pizz clear, and everything just works like it rolled out.

by the way, i strongly suggest looking under the dash (driver side) upwards of the clutch pedal to see if your clutch master cylinder is leaking, mine did. and if you only get a slave, or just a new master, then it likes to just wear the other one out. i'd go ahead and replace both, just me though. good luck

You have a leak somewhere. Check under the rubber cover of the slave on the passenger side of the transmission, and on the floorboard under the clutch pedal for the master. If they're both old you might as well replace both, as they are cheap.

no leaks now theres fluid in it. just a bad slave cylinder. thanks 4 tha help.
