Got the slave put on the S13 and it wasn't leaking anymore and bled the system and theres no air left. Problem is theres only a little pressure on the clutch pedal. I don't know what else to do now. I'm lost and need some help. With there only being a little pressure, does it mean theres still air in it somewhere? Any information would be grateful.

If there's no leak in the system, I'd say, yeah...there's still air in there. Do you still have the stock dampener box or did you bypass it?

Everyone who has ever had to bleed the clutch has commented that the stupid box makes it VERY VERY difficult. You might want to try to bypass the box by either getting a stainless line from somewhere like SPL. Other folks bypassed it by bending existing lines.

In lieu of that, just keep bleeding it.

How hard is it to get rid of the box? Thanks thus far for all your help.

Have you changed the Clutch Master Cylinder? I know almost everytime I had to put a slave cylinder on the master was soon to follow.

taking that box out is REALLY easy, just unscrew the hard line that goes into it, and attach that to the rubber line that comes out of the slave cyl. You have to bend the hard line a little bit to point it in the right direction, but its really extremly easy. There is a website around someplace that has pics and directions, but honestly its just unplug, bend, plug in-- not hard at all.

EDIT: also did you remember to re-install the push rod from your old slave cyl? I forgot that the first time and the pedal was really weak/fluid poured out the end of the slave's nipple.

The master cylinder shouldn't be a prob, just eliminate that dampener by bending the line and be sure to bleed it properly (2 people). In case your slave cylinder didn't come with directions, you loosen the bleeder valve by the slightest amount, you can often hear a little squirt noise. Pump 3 times, close the valve, pump 3 more times. Repeat this about 5 times to be thorough and you should be set. Good luck.

First slave I bought was leaking from the dust boot. So we ended up getting another one. So getting rid of the box is easy? Know of any links with instructions? From what I heard, w/o the box it makes everything way easier to bleed. I don't think my mast. cyl is bad. Thanks for all your help guys.
