Hey guys, this is my first post. I'm about to do a clutch job on my Z Tuesday the 28th of May. I have all of the required tools. transmission jack, torque wrench, 20in jack stands, floor jack, good sockets etc. I work in the hotel industry and luckily a ford tech gave me a print out for my car with step by step instructions. Unfortunately I am a visual person. I have searched the internet for either a diagram or a blown up transmission. I am a wrench turner, so the labor isnt an issue. I have done the clutch its self before. But i've never dropped a transmission. I've got help from two fellow wrench turners, who have also never dropped a transmission. If anyone could provide me with pictures of the process i'd love you forever, and so would my car.
Thanks in advance.

ttzd.com has a good write up with pictures under Clutch and Flywheel Replacement
Honestly you shouldn't have a problem.
Pulling the exhaust and driveshaft is self explainatory. The starter was hard to get off for me with the rusted bolts and the pre-cat in the way but i don't know how it is situated in the n/a. The hardest part was the top two transmission bolts. You will need a very long extension and a swivel.
If the transmission hasn't been pulled before a breaker bar and pb blaster will be your best friends. Also take note that while the transmission is off you may want to do other things down there like rear main seal, throw out bearing, etc.

Hey thanks. I bought a good clutch with the 6 pucks and it came with the bearings etc. Where is the starter located at?

It's bolted to the passenger side of the transmission bellhousing.
