Ok, 2 weeks ago I made a thread about my clutch pedal sinking problem, got replies from members saying that it could be a bad clutch master cylinder, so I tossed it. I went ahead and purchased a NEW s13 OEM nissan clutch m/c. Installed it, freaking bled the crap out of it like 10+ times, so there is definitely no air in the system, damper box is also eliminated. Went to a buddies place to help me try to figure it out, he used this white tapey stuff to help seal the hardline end connected to the M/C so no air/fluid leaks. After that, clutch felt ok with nice pressure, came home that night and next morning the damn clutch pedal sinks to the floor like before. Pooped the hood and looked at the resevior, no signs of leaked fluids, it was still above the max level. No leaks whatsoever on the slave cyl. and lines, WTF!!!!! I'm stoked and really getting pissed at the POS 240. Clutch Gurus please HELP!!!!!

Hmmm, maybe I should get a new OEM slave cyl.

Squeeze the slave cyl boot and see if any fluid comes out. When mine went bad, I didn't see any leaks at all and I had the same problem with the stuck pedal. The boot actually held the fluid in so it looked like there were no leaks, but there actually were.
