Clutch Fork

What can cause the cpivot ball to go through the clutch fork? Also I am hearing a light grinding sound from my 1990 240sx engine when I corner hard(left or right). Eventually it goes away and it sounds fine.

On the fork, lack of lubrication in the pivot socket of the fork could cause it to wear through over time.

On you grinding noise I suspect its low p/s fluid, check for any leaks in the P/s system.
