a sprung clutch is less harsh on the drive train. it will be a softer engagement where as the unsprung clutch will grab hard. more of a shock when you accelerate. some say that unsprung is to harsh for street driving but its up to the user to decide what they like best. i have a friend that drives a dd with a stage 4 unsprung clutch with a stage 5 presure plate and loves the heck out of it. but when i hop in and take it for a spin it feels wierd and a little hard to drive, guess you get used to it after a while.

theres alot of controversy on spec. some say its a great setup but others say it sucks, guess like before its at the users discression. hope it works for you.if it doesnt say anything there will be something that will give you a big hint on what it is. look around the center of the clutch, you will see a series of springs, inside of springs. thats sprung. unsprung is just a solid plate with no holes in it. but it usually will tell you what it is and what its ratings are. good luck
