I have a S13 that went through a SR20DET red top conversion. I've gone through two ACT six puck clutches with the heavy duty pressure plates. The second one is still on my car, but it is dying. Don't ask me why I even did the second one, but I regret going with the ACT clutch that is so stiff. I've had numerous problems due to this clutch.
I don't plan to push much more than 250 hp @ rear wheels (car is a daily driver but also used mostly for drifting and mountain roads), so I have been looking at the HKS Single Plate Clutch Kit or an Exeddy Stage 2 Clutch with a Toda Lightweight Flywheel. Which of these two would be best to go with for my uses? Are there any other recommendations?
Also, recently my Gab (KYB) adjustable struts have died. This is my second set also, but I bought them a second time only because they were a heck of a deal. I don't need super expensive suspension, but I am looking at a mid-ranged coilover set like the Tein HE, HA, SS, or Tanabe Sustec Pro-SS. The choices in the suspension category are overwhelming. Please enlighten me about the differences in the Tein products I have mentioned and the Tanabe product. The only certain thing is: I want suspension that can be overhauled...
In advance, thank you for your help.
