I have a S13 that went through a SR20DET red top conversion. I've gone through two ACT six puck clutches with the heavy duty pressure plates. The second one is still on my car, but it is dying. Don't ask me why I even did the second one, but I regret going with the ACT clutch that is so stiff. I've had numerous problems due to this clutch.

I don't plan to push much more than 250 hp @ rear wheels (car is a daily driver but also used mostly for drifting and mountain roads), so I have been looking at the HKS Single Plate Clutch Kit or an Exeddy Stage 2 Clutch with a Toda Lightweight Flywheel. Which of these two would be best to go with for my uses? Are there any other recommendations?

Also, recently my Gab (KYB) adjustable struts have died. This is my second set also, but I bought them a second time only because they were a heck of a deal. I don't need super expensive suspension, but I am looking at a mid-ranged coilover set like the Tein HE, HA, SS, or Tanabe Sustec Pro-SS. The choices in the suspension category are overwhelming. Please enlighten me about the differences in the Tein products I have mentioned and the Tanabe product. The only certain thing is: I want suspension that can be overhauled...

In advance, thank you for your help.

Overhauled suspension? TEIN coilovers is overhaul compatible. Their prices are TOO bad either. Wow! Drifiting and taking mountains on shocks/springs? I'm surprised that you bought a second pair. No I'm not flaming you, lol but yes, TEIN coilovers can be overhauled. Since you drift, specifically get the TEIN HE coilover dampers. Made exactly for drifting. of course you can take mountains with them also :) My opinion is that HE is better for your style.

i knew somebody was going to say something about drifting on Gabs... lol. i actually know a few guys, poor like me, that do drift on Gabs in S13's and MR2's. i paid $150 for the second set used and in almost brand new condition from a friend. they were good while they lasted but driving hard on them killed them real quick which is why i want quality.

anybody have any clutch recommendations?
