The thermostat switch.Loveless wrote:can you eleborate on "have them setup correctly" ?
The FAL 210 isn't that great of a setup for RWD cars where you have the space for better fans. They were designed for FWD cars where spacing between the turbo and the radiator gets tight.Loveless wrote:I live in socal
the usual temperature around here is 80 and 90 ish during the summer
fal 210 + koyo isn't doing it for me. the power is directed connected to the ignition
I remember reading something about clutch fan > fal due to the shroud set up
yesterday, while in a shop, 2 people who has redtop and clutch fan said they don't an issue with clutch fan
80-90? Try coming to the desert and experience the 100+ degrees here! Anyhow why isn't your combination cutting it for you? Overheating? Aftermarket coolant temp gauge?Loveless wrote:I live in socal

What kind of coolant are you running and what mixture?Loveless wrote:sorry, I meant 90 to 100c of late
the ecu registered averge 85C from the stock sender and 90c from the hot radiator hose
if I run it for too long in the afternoon it'll get to 90c from stock sender and 100c from the hot radiator hose
not sure what you mean by explaining setup, you mean list of my mods?-replaced oem thermotstat a year ago-fal twin fan connected to ignition-koyo aluminum radiator-samco silicone coolant hoses -25% coolant 75% distilled water + redline WW-ngk iridium cold plugs-greddy fmic with stock present, not much air flow to radiator since ac condensor is in placeNismo_Freak wrote:What kind of coolant are you running and what mixture?
Explain your entire heat exchanger setup (I/C, Rad, Coolant Mods, etc.), and your typical drive where it hits 100c.
