Clutch fan sufficient?

I just got my 90 s13 with a sr20det this winter and im wondering if the stock clutch fan (without shroud) will be sufficient.

Here are the conditions:I have a new Mishimoto rad with samco hosesI have a red top sr20det with minor modifications and a fmicI live in Maryland summers can get up to 100 and humid but rarely gets that high

get an sr fan shroud. you'll be fine after that.

or just run some Efans.... go to the local junkyard and theyll have a whole shltload you can choose from. plus itll make your engine bay look alot cleaner (of course you know i mean by taking your mechanical fan off....).

No, you'll need the fan shroud.

Or get some Altima Fans..they work great and they cost around 80 bux and they flow better than any other efans out there.. I have the same setup you have the mishimoto rad and samco hoses and have not had any problems..on the other hand sr runner warmer than my ka..you can also get top and bottom Radiator Shrouds.

Clutch fan is superior as long as you have the proper shroud.

im more or less in the same situation mine was fine all last summer without the shroud and its never overhead yet.
