I'm debating clutch fan removal. i know people run the altima set up and I was wondering from those who have done it how efficiant it was. my cars a daily driver I don't put more then 50 miles a week on it. I want to keep it clean and this seems the best way to go. I'm not gonna race or drift I'm not looking to keep it super cool. I just wanna make sure it works properly and is nice to look at. thanks.

E fans are great. Go for it.

Just look at it you'll figure out how to remove it. IIRC its like 4 bolts on a plate or something like that.

it's really not removal issue it's whether it's going to work well. Not that clutch fans provide the greatest source of cool air...I just wanna make sure it works well enough.

dude I've seen your responses to a few people on this site and you just need to keep your hands off a keyboard till you work on your car a little more thanks though.

There are a lot of options for e-fans. The most important part of the install is the activation. Best way is a fan controller with it's own thermo switch. But there are many cheaper options.

I recycled a fan out of a Mini Cooper S and switch it through the A/C thermo switch located on the lower radiator hose. I have also removed the A/C and can just turn on the switch on the dash to kick in the secondary fan that's used to cool the condensor(if were still there).

Thats what I was thinking. I'm not a big fan of a/c anyway I like my windows down. Did you run it to the a/c fuse or a/c fan fuse or straight to the switch?

The fan is on it's own circuit with a fuse and relay. I just use the factory A/C thermo switch on the lower hose to trigger the relay/fan.
