hi, i have a 240sx with a swapped ca18det. the motor didn't come with a fan and shroud(efan). i was wondering, if anyone is selling a good condition clutch fan and fan shroud. Or if these are interchangeable?

thanks

you'll need a CA specific shroud and fan unfortunately
the KA one won't fit

I have a fan clutch if you're still interested going this route.

I would be surprised if it did. The trimming would probably make it not work anyway. Can I ask why you don't get an electric fan setup?

i did have an efan setup... altima dual fans with a dif controller.( with relays). It worked great but i didnt like when it turns on, you can feel the fans take so much power. Now since im also going FMIC, im gonna use a smaller battery and was hoping to use a clutch fan/shroud setup but since i can't find a ca shroud....im NOW thinking about just buying a mishimoto fan shroud. My question is, will i have any problems using a smaller battery with this shroud and controller?

You'll be fine. I ran a lawn and garden battery for years with dual 10" electric fans and no issues.
