Hey whats up everybody. I'm new to this forum and really appreciate the knowledge shared by everyone. I just bought a 1989 240sx ka24e in really good condition. I'm sure there is a thread on here that has already addressed this but I can't seem to find it. Here's my problem; Today my clutch basically fell to the floor while driving and won't go into gear. So I checked the fluid in the clutch reservoir and it was basically empty. I went out and bought some DOT-3 and filled it up, but the clutch still won't come up or shift. I guess I need to bleed the lines tomorrow but am not completely sure how to go about that. Any help would be greatly appreciated or if you could point me to a thread that discusses this, that would be great.

The bleeder is on the slave clyinder..You might have to use the other bleeder on the damper box to..Or just by pass the damper box..

Thanks for the help. I think I'm just bypass the clutch dampener tonight if I have enough daylight after work. That seems to be pretty commonplace around here. Unless anybody has had negative side effects?

The dampener bypass I highly recommend. You definately need to check for leaks from the MC and the Slave as all the fluid had to go somewhere. Honestly I would recommend replacing both if one of them is bad. They are both relatively cheap parts.
