91 s13, srblacktop. not sure on what clutch is in or who made it.
anywho. on startup, im only letting the clutch out like 30-40% before it starts engauging. a couple minutes of driving and it warmed up. i hit a stop then its about 60-65% of release until the clutch starts to engauge.

im about to replace the trans. should i replace the clutch too? or is this a non issue and normal? the clutch grabs great and i have no issues with it other than what i just stated.

I know sometimes a 6 puck will release at different points. My buddies got a Civic with a fully built single cam and a eBay 6 puck and sometimes it will release almost all the way up then next time it will release at the floor. Could be that it's a Civic or a cheap clutch. If it grabs fine and you have no other issues, then that is totally up to you if you wanna replace it. When you replace the transmission, inspect it really good, take pics and post em on here and get some other opinions, then go from there. But bleed the lines really, really good like ^ he said and bypass the clutch dampening box too. Sometimes that makes it a pain in the a** to bleed. But that's my experience, anyways. Good luck!

Yeah, give that a shot and see what happens. I know when I changed my clutch it took forever to get all the air out. So like I said bleed it really good until you think its gone then redo it. Let us know how it goes.
