Flare Hardline tools, depending on the quality, will expand depending on how tight the bolt is. I used a Monkey Wrench to get mine out and then retightened it with some sealant tape and a Flare hardline wrench.

Once you get the Clutch dampener out just bleed the system like normal.

As for the bleeding, google "How to bleed clutch system" it will explain it pretty well.

You're going to unscrew the bleeder valve, press down the clutch pedal, and while keeping the clutch pedal pressed down, you tighten it, that way you don't suck the air back into the clutch line. At that point, you'll loosen the valve and push the clutch pedal, and while keeping it pressed you tighten the valve. Rinse and repeat until the clutch is nice and firm.

if those asteriks are degrees... the angle doesn't matter. 37 would be easier to work with though. Mine are 37 degrees.

If they're not degrees, I really don't know what you're asking.

yeah they are degrees. I am going to get the flare tool from advance auto and give it a go. It will be tough with the little room under the car though...

So I went under my car again today, and realized that this attachment to the cylinder is not returning all the way. The base of the attachment(at the top) on the transmission is not snug, it moves. Sometimes I have to manually pull out the attachment to get the pedal moving full motion againMy clutch pedal does not follow my foot all the way out (stops a good distance away from the point where it would be all the way out). What is at fault, the cylinder's piston, or the attachment? Now I have reason to believe that the retainer spring isn't on tight because I can move the withdrawal lever from the base just a bit. I think i've got this figured out.
