I tried taking out my dampener a couple of days ago, but I stripped the crap out of the flare screw thing that goes from the clutch master cylinder to the dampener. I used wd 40 before trying to loosen it, but it still wouldn't budge. next thing you know everything was rounded off. i hate how those things are so fragile. anyway...can anyone help me...tips and stuff on how to get that thing off. i was thinking that I should just cut the line and re-flare it. I don't know how to do that though. thanks.

Locking pliers, good ones...if there's enough to grab, that should do it.

what if i do re-flare it. can i use the flare nut off of the line coming from the dampener to the slave cylinder in place of the one i cut off? or would need a new one?
