Hey guys, my clutch cylinder is leaking and the brake fluid is making its way through the firewall and dripping off the clutch pedal and onto the floor. I've heard that it's just a leaky grommet or something, but I don't have the slightest idea how to fix it or how much it would cost. Has anybody done this before?

You need to replace the clutch cylinder. Its fairly easy, but kinda a pain in the a$$. Under the dash, disconnect the pushrod from the clutch pedal itself. Then in the engine bay, bleed off your brake fluid (so you dont spill it on your show qaulity polished engine bay), then remove the clutch hard line from the bottom (or side, i cant remember exactly), then remove the 2 bolts that hold the cylinder to the firewall. Have a new cylinder ready and install in reverse order. Remember to bleed the clutch at both the valve (bolted to the frame just before the slave cylinder) and at the slave cylinder.

The cylinder itself should be around $50 or so. The installation is pretty straight forward; if you've ever worked on brakes, this is similar. Good luck!
