Do yu have to replace the gasket when you do a clutch change?

what gasket? Usually I change the pilot bushing, throw out bearing, clutch, pressure plate, and have the flywheel resurfaced.

while you have the flywheel off it may not be a bad idea to go ahead and do the rear main seal while you have the transmission and flywheel off

that would not hurt. there is a gasket for the shifter but just use rtv or something.

allright, and do i have to use anything to seal up the transmission when i put it back so nothing leaks? and whats the best way to get the transmission plug open??

only around the shifter. be carefull with the plug and use good hand tools. no impacts allowed.
